Never the Same

Tues will never be the same again. (SIGH)

Received a saddening news yesterday that i shall not be able to meet and have lunch with a very dear friend anymore with effect from today.
Actually i have expected and fear the day will come, is it sooner than expected? How will my Tues be from today onwards?
Now i don't have any single day of the week to look forward to already?

My Tues routine was broken today, gone were my smile, joy and laughter. Gone were my constantly looking out at the glass panel looking for the familiar sight. Gone were my eagerness looking forward to lunch. (Had lunch @ 1430hrs today) Gone were hearing those laughter and music. Gone were the waving, gone .....................

How will my days be like from today onwards??
Well, what's the point of worrying about the future when fate can throw me a curve ball and snuff out my life in a matter of a split second?
Let's think of it this way, if bad things were to happen in the next minute or in the future, they will happen. No one say life is going to be easy. So just deal with it when it comes lor.

Someone said, worry doesn't help tomorrow's troubles but it sure does ruin today's happiness.
This i am still working on it.

Unexpected

Did not expect i needed my dear friend's help to look after my shop yesterday and whatmore on the busiest day of the week- Sat.

Have had a very bad stomach upset which was probably due to the food i have eaten the day before. Called all my part timers but none of them were available, one of them even have chicken pox. So i called my friend knowing i shall be 'disturbing' her family and her weekend activity.

My dear friend was nice to take time to come down to help me out as i found myself in pain and going to the toilet most of the time.
Being the first time, she managed my shop quite well, taking notes for me, 'entertaining' my teachers, attending to customers.
Was too blurred that i have forgotten to ask if she had taken her lunch and hence she has skipped it all because of me.

She also took the trouble to prepare the medicine for me and brought me a drink.
Well, a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Thank you my friend.
